The Kings Proclamation

Sunday saw the Kings Proclamation being read out around the country.

We joined the good people of Halifax and ensured that they where able to hear every single word. Setting up a mixture of DB Technologies T4 & T12 line array systems. The brief was to enable unto 3000 people to hear news of the new king.

It was a challenging set up with the layout of the closely knitted streets and the location of the town hall. With one main hang of T12 and delay lines of T4 set up, we managed to great fantastic coverage for this historic event.

Calderdale Pride

It’s been 3 years since the last Pride event in Calderdale. We are proud to help it return with a bang.

We were approached by Sound & Concepts to provide the design and operation for the event based at the Halifax Piece Hall. The organisers wanted “Eye Candy”. As the event was taking place during the day we had to be careful in our choice of fixtures. As allways we had limited time on site, so we utilised Pre-Vis. The design was put together and plotted back at base.

Utilising Sound & Lights Concepts vast stock of fixtures, we opted for a mix of Chauvet R1 beams, R2 wash. Along with LED blinders / battens and archer fittings. Due to time constraints we opted for minimal flown elements and utilised truss totem’s.

Liberty X

Control was via Chamsys, based over 4 universes. It gave us the ability to work quickly on the fly and to be creative with the looks. The event was a roaring success with over 22,000 people in attendance, welcoming Pride back with a bang.
